It is my great pleasure to welcome you to the SASMFOS Annual Congress 2026, to be held in Durban on 16 – 18 September 2026 at the Radisson Blu Hotel, Umhlanga.

This year’s congress theme is Soft Tissue Management Around Dental Implants, Orthodontics and Maxillofacial Surgery. We look to unite consultants (specialists), registrars, academics, researchers and allied professionals in Maxillofacial and Oral Surgery to share knowledge, explore emerging innovations and advance excellence in patient care.

Our scientific programme will feature distinguished local speakers, multidisciplinary discussions, practical insights and opportunities for collaboration and professional development.
